Though formally trained in qualitative research and the anthropology of medicine, she has spent much of her life in newsrooms. Her work can be found in WIRED, Slate, Popular Science, Inverse, Edible Magazine, and Atlas Obscura. She is the producer of the podcast Tie My Tubes and runs Curie for women interested in stories about science.
She is currently enrolled in the graduate Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program at New York University.
